Potter's House Lodge is a perfect getaway for the Anchorage ice fishermen, cross-country skier, and snow machiner. Located at the edge of the wilderness, trails to everywhere and nowhere abound. We are three miles from Spirit Lake, as the trails run, which is one of the hottest ice fishing lakes on the peninsula. There is plenty of space to park snowmachine trailers. Winter rates for the Queen Room upstairs is $59 for two per
night, with $20 for each additional person in the adjacent room, up to three people but a max of $40. Open weekends, Christmas break and Thanksgiving break only, as I am a teacher.
Come enjoy our frozen lake--a good place to watch the Northern Lights. We often have campfires on the lake, and when the ice is good, we ice skate. If not, it's good for snowmachining.
